Ann-Marie, I've also checked in the phone book for Warren on Old Ashby Road, Loughborough, but they are not there either. Old Ashby Road is Council Housing, (I don't know how you would describe that in the USA - municipal housing?) so I was hoping that the family may still be there, but to no avail - I've found that people in municipal housing are often less fluid in moving house, than those in their own houses. But to no avail. The Loughborough Echo publishes every Friday, (though it actually hits the streets on Thursday) with Tuesday being the deadline for the next issue, if you want to email the editor as previously advised. Ann-Marie No Frank Portsmouth in the Loughborough Telephone directory - in fact no Portsmouth at all in Loughborough. Best try the local paper, The Loughborough Echo. Hello List Having had such a good response to previous queries I am asking for another lookup to finally knock my 'brickwall' down. I am looking for the Burial of Sarah Ann Chapman. There are 2 listed on the Free BMD website. One died in the June quarter of 1852 and the other in the September quarter of 1854. Is either of these buried in Welford Road Cemetery? Can SKS help, please? Many thanks Pat Chapman

Sorry, neither of the two Sarah Ann CHAPMANs you refer to was buried at Welford Road Cemetery. There are three with the correct name but they were buried between 1876 and 1922. Regards, Jack Allen

Just order the death certificate in the normal way from the GRO or the local register office. If you use the GRO, you'll need the reference which you can get from www.findmypast.com or www.familyrelatives.com or www.ancestry.co.uk You won't get her cause of death except via the death certificate.
