Elizabeth Petermann and John Ellebach-Ellerbach-Ellebeck immigrated to St Clair Co., IL, ca. 1860. It is not known if they married in Germany of in IL. They had a daughter Elizabeth Ellebach, who married George Lutz. John died after a few years and Elizabeth Peterman Ellebach married 2nd John Faith. George Lutz immigrated from Baden, after 1747, with his parents, names unknown. They settled in Shiloh and Belleville, St.. Clair Co., IL. George Lutz and Elizabeth Ellebach had a son, William, who married Louisa Hoepffner, daughter of Louis Hoepffner and Josephina Lehmann. Louis Hoepffner immigrated from Zweibruecken Rh Bavaria; and Josephinea Lehmann from Karlsruhe, Baden to St. Louis, MO., ca 1860 and then settled in St. Clair Co., IL.
