Mary Layman was born May 10 1817 in Clinton Co. OH, and married Samuel McKibben on August 16, 1836 in the same county. Can anyone tell me if she was the daughter of Jacob Layman, who was an itinerant preacher living in that part of Ohio at the time? I would truly like to hear from you if you have an answer.
