Haven't seen this spelling on the list, but here's hope. Jacob LAYMAN was born ca 1780 in VA, according to census. His first wife is unknown, he was a Baptist preacher & died in Clinton Co OH, buried in Highland Co. In his will he only names 2 sons, Amos & Silas, but we think he also had the following: Joseph, Ann married HENRY CLOUD, Tavner, Elizabeth, Laodice, Nancy & Mary. Who were his parents & what was his wife's name. Any help greatly appreciated. Peg
