I have quite a bit of information on my maternal grandmothers family... the Layman's from Missouri...I am looking to fill in some gaps and would be more than happy to share the information I do have if anyone is researching the same line... Edward Lewis Layman b Aug 1882 d 12 1946 married to Bertha Stewart and later Blanch Lue his parents were Columbus W. Layman b. Sept 1848 and Alta Zarah Bohannon Columbus' parents were George Layman b Nov. 1805 and Nancy Salvage George's parents were Jacob Layman and Nancy ? I do not have the parantage for Jacob but know the names of his four siblings..unfortunately I have a lot more information about other branches of the family than what I am currently researching...hopefully it can be of use to someone else, though. thanks.
