Dear Chuck, Some of this information is strikingly close to my Layman Family information, however I have it a different way. But, I think maybe it is the same. Abtahma Layman, second soon of Johan Jacob Layman and brother to Jeremiah was born ca 1802 . I have six children listed, Willis Buck,b, ca 1828, George W. ca 1831, John , ca 1832, James M. , ca 1835, Mellisa, ca 1841, and Charles W.ca 1843. The George W. I have married Elizabeth B.and had four children, Winfield S. James H., Robert J and Andrew T. My ancestor is Jeremiah, his son John Ward Laynman settled in Pulaksi County also. They lived around the Crocker area. I am John Ward gg grandson. I think the george W. maybe our family.
