Anyone know for sure if Thomas Lemmons who moved from VA to Rhea Co. Tn, was the father of the other Lemmons boys who lived there, namely Allen married to Polly in VA, John married to Sarah, and William married to Amy Reece in Tennessee? I have my wife's Aunt Rose in the Lemmons family who comes down from William, two directions, but even though it looks like they might be related, I don't know for sure. I'm working out of the 1850 to 1900 Rhea County Marriage, Census, Tax list book by Bettye Broyles. It's got a lot of info in it about the Lemmons families.
