Seeking any information or clues about Elizabeth LEMMON who married Samuel PURDY in Elmstead, Essex on 30 Oct 1729. Unfortunately the Elmstead registers from c 1660 to 1729 are missing (taken for a court case and never recovered) but there is no prior or subsequent reference to the name LEMMON or variants that I can see.
