My distant cousin told me that it was possible that we are distantly related to Jack LEMMON, the actor. I am not accepting this as a fact until I have a proof. Here's what she sent me on Jack's family history. Jack LEMMON was born John Uhler LEMMON III on 8 Feb 1925 in Newton, MA to John Uhler LEMMON, Jr. and Mildren La Rue NOEL. The NOEL family was an old line from MD. John LEMMON, Jr. was a former Naval officier and became a lieutenant. He died in Santa Monica, CA around 1961 to 1962 and was brought back to Towson, MD to be buried in the family plot. He had a brother, Vernon C. LEMMON, who owned a funeral home in Towson, MD. John, Jr. was son of John LEMMON, Sr. Does anyone know anything about this John, Sr. or his parents, etc? Did any of this family go to TN? Any other information on this family is appreciated.
