I have been using Legacy for almost as long as I have been doing genealogy. I was a bit apprehensive when I reaearched the program because of the LDS slant, but then I realized that most genealogy programs seem to allow for LDS needs. I am not a member of LDS, and in fact I don't agree with praying for the dead (as they have already met their maker), but I am very grateful to LDS members for all the work they have done and that they let everyone see it - for free! It was very easy to figure out at the outset that the program doesn't have to show LDS info. Does anyone have a tip for an impatient person? When I go to Index View, and type in a name, it often seems to miss the first letter. Am I just being too impatient, or is there a reason?
