    3. I'm very happy with Legacy but it does do some nasty things at times if you input the wrong stuff. Legacy does not like "gender bender" marriages. I've made the same mistake many times where I've incorrectly put the wrong gender for some folks and then had them married to the same gender. or merged the wrong people Do that too often and the system will go nuts on you. If you notice that importing data takes a lot longer than usual. Do a full set of back-ups, repairs and file checks.Or Else! Bad imports don't work well either. I often find that it's the "Next Deleted Person/Marriage Cannot Be Found" or words to that effect.screen that is the tip off that something has gone very astray and a total crash is coming soon.. My database is 400,000 people and 458 Meg in size. Not something you want to mess-up. Someday I'd really like that "UNDO" button added. That's something we really need! Nelson Denton

    3. Nelson, Legacy requires that there be a male and female in the relationship. There is no way you can enter them in Legacy as male/male or female/female nor even link them together. They could both be imported as males or females, but when you run a File > File Maintenance > Check/Repair, the program will make one female and the other male. I believe the "Next deleted..." message you're getting is Error 3021. If you go to our website at http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp > Solutions by Error Number, you'll find a solution to that error message. You can always undo a merge and/or import up to a point - as long as a merge is in progress, you can undo that. The import can be undone until you close Legacy. For both options, look under the Edit menu. Thanks for using Legacy.
