I just ordered a Legacy CD (backup of the genealogy program) for $1. The postage/handling for priority mail was $7. It arrived today. The postage was 63 cents with nary an indication of priority mail. Not too funny. Mary in Alaska
Mary, Our web site clearly indicates the shipping charge when you place your order. Besides the cost of the postate, remember that we also have the expense of printing labels and packing slip, the envelope we ship in and the time involved in processing the order. I'm looking at our online store's order form and nowhere does it say "priority mail", although it does say that when you're checking prices in the "basket". That's the only US Mail option other than air mail. If you look at the order form, flat rate for shipping via US Mail within the US is $7.00. Priority mail is for packages, letters, etc over 13 oz.
