Rootsweb is changing the operation of its mailing lists. You should probably have already received a message from Rootsweb, advising that the lists are to be changed. When this list has been changed, you should get a Welcome message, advising that you have been subscribed to the new version of the list. That should not mean that you have been subscribed to an extra mailing list, only that your subscription to the list to which you are now subscribed, has been transferred to the new version of the list. When you receive that Welcome message, please read it and keep it. Amongst other information, it will have the new email address to which messages are to be addressed, for posting to the mailing list.
