Although I didn't get the 404 message I had the page freeze up constantly during the steps before actually getting to the "Download" button. Legacy Support suggested that all Temporary Internet Files should be deleted before attempting to get the update. Didn't make a difference in my case but this may help if you're getting the 404 message. In Internet Explorer this involves going to "Tools/Internet Options" and on the General tab looking in the middle of the dialogue box and clicking on "Delete Files" in the Temporary Internet files section. In the resulting box place a tick where it says "delete all offline content" and then OK. Next you should press the "Delete Cookies" button in the same section and then OK. Press OK again at the bottom of the box and then try to access the Legacy pages again. The Users Group and Legacy Support both say they've had no problem getting updates using either Mozilla or IE but too many people have reported this 404 problem for it to be coincidence.
