Dear Listers, Since Roll Call Week is almost over, I though for the next week we could do something a little different. From Sat. 17 Feb 2001 through Sat. 24 Feb 2001 we'll deal with the issue of "Genealogy Pitfalls". We've all had them. EYou know what I mean -- falling for the old story about "four brothers came to this country", or sharing information (like a good genealogist) only to discover your research on someone else's commercial site -- things of that nature. Same guidelines apply as always: no personal info that would harm anyone, no flaming, and you must keep a sense of humor! Everyone send in your tales of woe and we'll all offer sympathy and suggestions. Your Old ListMom Nancy Lewis Millsap
For the next week let's have a Roll Call to acquaint our new members with everyone on the list and the areas being researched. Your Old ListMom, Nancy Lewis Millsap

Good Evening Leedhams, My name is Nancy Lewis Millsap, and I'm the List Adm. (I like ListMom much better) for this new mailing list. We're very new and very small, but I'm sure we'll grow as time goes by. For now, we'll have an informal 'Roll Call'. You can post whatever you would like in reference to your LEEDHAM search/research in this roll call. We just need to get acquainted and start the information exchange. I don't have many rules in regards to the mailing list; just don't post personal info about anyone that's still alive, be good to each other, after all, we' all family, and keep your sense of humor and patience. I'll try to post any information I find about the LEEDHAM surname and hope that it will help someone else. And, of course, feel free to email me personally at anytime. Welcome each and everyone. I hope you'll enjoy our journey through the past. Your Old ListMom Nancy Lewis Millsap lacywinston@earthlink.net
