Father- Septimus LEE Mother- Emma Clarke Wife - Janetta Codd 1870-1954 (Eng. Midlands. Sleaford, Lincoln area.) Children- Evelyn Florence LEE 1894-1969 Edith Helen LEE 1897-1904 died in Durban, S. Africa Ethel Mary LEE 1900-1906 died in Eng. John Clark LEE 1903-1981 born in Durban, S Africa (my father) Herbert Samuel LEE 1909-1985 Lillian Eva LEE (Jarvis) 1912- Grandfather and his brother came to the US. about 1890. Grandmother sailed alone to the US. to marry GF. in 1893, and their first child was born in 1895. GF. and his brother left for S. Africa and a Govt. job a few years later. GM sailed with their three daughters to Eng., and then on to join her husband in Durban, S.Africa, shortly thereafter. Helen died there at 7yrs.in 1904 , John was born there in 1903; GM and John contracted Malaria and the family returned to Eng. Ethel died at 6yrs. while in Eng. She is buried in Canwick Churchyard. Sam and Janetta sailed to US. once more, to take up residence in Devon, Pennsylvania.
