I am searching for a William LEE who was born 1858 Georgia. He married Sarah "Monie" Adeline LESLIE b. Dec 22, 1868 Dotson or Caledonia, Texas. They had one son born Feb 16, 1901 Hartshorne, Oklahoma. Believe Monie may have been raised by the JAMES H. JOHNSON family who came from Ga. to Panola co., Texas. He died right after his son was born between 1901-1904 in Okla. or Tex. Have hit a dead end with him for years. Trying to find his parents or siblings. He may have been part Indian. Monie's first marriage was to COLUMBUS C. JACKSON b. May 1859 Georgia. They were married about 1886. Their children: Caroline Catherine b. July 23, 1887 Timpson, Texas, Frank b. Dec 22, 1888 Tex., William b. Aug 19, 1890 Tex., Wilton Andrew b. June 21, 1896 Belcherville, Tex, and David Okelly b. April 1899 Indian Territory, Okla.
