Hello, I am hoping to find family information on John E Lee b. abt 1875 TX married abt 1903 to a Louise b. abt 1868 LA. John's mother was born in Va and his father in MO. I have them in the 1910 census in Dallas, TX with Louise's sons from a former marriage and their son, Lynn Kniffen Lee, b. 1904. Thanks for any help, Marlaina Fritz Barr

Marlaina: There is no evidence that my LEE relatives are related to yours. I know a lot about my John Lee relatives, but I have been frustrated with trying to find the ancesters of my GGGrandfather, Thomas F. Lee, who was born in VA in 1797 and then moved to IN until his death circa 1860. Some of the confusion is that in the area in which he was born (Washington Co., VA) but that part of VA was under dispute with TN until 1803. So in todays maps he may have been born in TN??? We know quite about him after he left VA. He married in Greene Co., TN after which at some point he moved to IN prior to 1830.
