We have a problem here...and it applies to any other descendants shown following Capt. Thomas Lee's line in the referenced post (ie Needham Lee #181, etc.) This erroneously attaches Capt. Thomas LEE, son of John Lee, Esq. of Johnston Co. NC to this line. (Some of the children aren't even Capt. Thomas's so this mixes up at least two men of the same name...same thing with Needham.) This information has been around for a long time and has been proven to be incorrect, but continues to live on in publications for all to see. :-( Capt. Thomas DID NOT write the above quote in *his* bible. The Bible in question belonged to Needham Lee, Sr. and the information that was written in many decades after Capt.
