Marie: I found Elizabeth Blackman in a different place. There is a Jesse Lee b. 16 Mar 1768 in Johnson Co, NC. I have him marrying the Elizabeth "Betsy" Blackman you mention. This Jesse is the s/o David "Long David" Lee and Martha Blackman or Eldridge (per my data). This Jesse is almost 30 years younger than your Jesse and is almost contemporary with your Jesse's kids. And the ages of this Jesse and Betsy line up pretty well. Bear in mind that this data is suspect, too, and doesn't have to be right.
