I descend from the marriage of a John LEE and Elizabeth SMITH of Giles County, TN in the early 1800's. My John LEEs ancestory is unknown and there has been some confusion that he was descended from a TAYLOR line. I don't think that it is correct, even though the LDS has distributed information on this relationship.
