If you have access to an LDS Family History Library, there are SEVERAL books, books on microfilm and other resources that you can order in from Salt Lake. Also, on the Ancestral File and IGI you will be able to find some information. I checked this out rather thoroughly (although I haven't been able to access many of the books on film) because OUR family story is the same as all those who are researching the LEE name: "My relative was related to General Robert E. Lee". Our LEE ancestor was purportedly his brother ... but so far I've not been able to prove that. I very much doubt it.
