Sally If this is your line, would very much like to exchange information with you as it is my line of Lea's which later connect into my Sargent lines. Also is the book you cited available? I have "Lea Families in Caswell & Person Counties North Carolina, and in Virginia Before 1800"; author Ben Rose. Lots of info, but sometimes raises more questions than gives answers. Wm & Mary (Green) Lea had a son, William b 1682 (St. Stephens Parish, Va) who married (bef 1715) Francis Major (King & Queen Co, VA) producing a daughter, Sarah Lea b. 1715 (St Stephens Parish) (plus other children I'm sure) Sarah Lea married William Sargeant/Sargent b abt 1715 New Kent, Va. producing Stephen Bryant Sargent, which is my line.
