Hello I am trying to piece together the different LEA's of Virginia and NC. There are several conflicting stories out there. I thought I would post my questions and maybe someone can help: 1. There are 2 different stories regarding James Lea who married Anne Tolbert: Was he born in England, and moved to Virginia with his family? OR was he born 1715 in Virginia and the son of John Lea and Ann Taylor? 2. Were William Lea (1711-1762)/Mary Barnett the parents of William Lea b. 1734 who married Frances White? 3. Who were the parents of George Lea who married Lucy Tolbert? and last... Who were the parents of Elizabeth LEA/LEE that married Zachary Taylor?
