Francis was the brother of Richard the II. Richard II was born in 1647 and Francis was born in 1648. this sounds reasonable, but Lees are hard to track, as there are so many of them. My records go like this: Richard I (Immigrant) - 1617, m Anne Constable son - Richard II (called the Scholar) - 1647, m Laetitia Corgin son - Richard III, 1678, m Martha Silk his children were George, 1714; Laetitia, 1715; and Martha 1716 Arthur Fernay's line: Richard I, 1617 Francis, 1648, m Tamar Tamak (1650) from England Arthur Fernay, Sr. 1693, m Sheron Sherrad (1693) of Va. Arthur Fernay, Jr.1719, m Elizabeth Haynes (1723) of Charleston, S.C. Arthur Fernay Lee (1744) - I don't know who he married, or who his children are. Where do you fit in, Douglas?
