He was born on January 19, 1919, in Erie, the eldest son of Ackroyd and Anna Elizabeth Shultz Lee. He was preceded in death by his wife, brothers James Lee and Wilbert Lee and sister Evelyn Seelinger. He is survived by a brother Norman Lee of Erie and a sister Phyllis Ann Cooper Milligan of Edinboro, a good friend Judy Bourquin of Los Angeles and many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed sail boating, traveling and photography. The burial service was held graveside on May 2, 2011, by Forest Lawn Mortuary with Pastor Clarence Olsson officiating.
