DICKINSON and Polly LEET. The family was included in the 1880 census living in Thurman. Aaron is age 26 and his wife Polley age 21, both born in NY. They have three children at the time, Hershel age 6, Ernest age 5, and Unice age 2, all born in NY. . Mate TUCKER, A. H. John BATEMAN age 42, born in VT, his wife Martha age 43, also born in VT, and 5 children including, Etta age 18, Martha age 17, John S. age 13 (likely the same John pictured), Bertram age 10, and Cora age 6, the three oldest born in VT and the two youngest in NY. Also living with the family at that time was "Mother", Esther COLE age 77, a widow, born in NY to VT born parents. Not sure if she is John's Mother with a different surname or Martha's Mother suggesting Martha's maiden name was COLE. .
