This John Lee defies my best efforts. He is my ggf; Our family has not been able to trace his ancestors nor some of his descendants. We are hoping that the next Mars Space Probe may turn up something. b 17 June, 1813, either Bladen Co., NC or Bulloch Co., GA, d 6 November 1860, Grooverville, Brooks Co., GA, buried, Groover/Ramsey Cemetery, Grooverville, GA; m 31 October 1839 in Grooverville, GA, Eliza Groover, b 30 March 1820, Bulloch Co., GA, d 6 October 1896, Thomasville, Thomas Co., GA, buried, Groover/Ramsey Cemetery. They had nine children: James C. Lee, b about 1840, William Reuben Lee, b about 1843, Sarah Jane Lee, b 20 March 1844, Laura Hunter Lee, b 6 April 1846, Charles West Lee, b about 1848, Burton Groover Lee, b about 1851, Elizabeth "Betsy" Lee, b about 1853, John Wesley Lee, b 20 February, 1853, Florence Ellen Lee, b 14 November 1855,(my gm).
