Go to VA on the usgenweb.com site and then the county of Westmorland. There is a lot of material there on the Lees of VA (Robt. E. Lee) and also use Google and it will take you to some sites that is mostly about the Lee family. Unfortunately, most people think they are kin to REL but most people are not! There were many Lee families in VA and many in NC. I am searching 2 lines of Lees and one of them is definitely not kin to them and one may be kin "from a distance" that has no meaning. I have a lot of Lee sites you may like to go over. However, I am on vacation and will be back home on Wed. I can send you those if you would like. Let me know. Good luck. Talk later. Nora
I found this information copied from a Benjamin Franklin Lee Bible in the Mississippi Archive, from Cemetery and Bible records, Volume XI It's not the line I'm working on, but if you need more information on these people, I can send the births, marriages and deaths from this page.
