Hi fellow Lee researchers - Searching for any details on Sarah Elizabeth LEE, b. ca 1840, place unknown. My son-in-law was given a hand drawn family tree that showed Sarah, his Great Grandmother, to be the daughter of Isaac Alpha Lee, who was the son of Jeremiah Lee, b. ca 1700. The main problem is that all research to date indicates that Isaac had no children. That possibly bogus family tree showed Isaac's father, Jeremiah, as having eight children: Henry, Alexander, Winifred, Nancy, Esther, Hardy, Nicholas and Isaac Alpha. Do any of those names sound familiar? Sarah seems to be authentic, so we are trying to determine if Isaac was really childless, and if so, could Sarah Elizabeth possibly the daughter of one of Isaac's siblings, or in some other line altogether.
