Harrelson; widows pension War of 1812 on John Lee iii Virginia in beautiful Greenville, SC> This family has become critical to my LEE Family of SC research. I have a John Lee m. to Margaret Howard in 1746 MD who was in SC 1n 1751 and who had a son, John, Jr. b. about 1753. The similarity to your John, Jr is encouraging. Marion District was established in 1798 out of Georgetown District which was one of the original districts. Since my John Lee was settled in Camden District in 1752 and later died in Camden District 1787, we may have two different families. Do you have the source of your data and/or any additional data on your John Lee, Jr. of Marion Co., or his father, John, Sr.. The surname of your Margaret would probably solve the whole dilemma.
