Hi, I posted a message quite awhile ago, and thank those for their responses, however to date I havn't matched anything. I would like now to ask if anyone can review any information they may have on these two areas. 1st; Francis Lee may have come to Canada around 1812. He is living on the property of a Peter Milne in 1851. Peter came to Canada from New York State. Does anyone have information on migrations from New York to Canada in this time period. William Berczy was another individual bringing families in through New York. It is possible the mother and father came with their son Francis when he was just an infant. 2nd; Francis is also amongst the mennonite families from Pennsylvania. The family marries into some of them, namely the Barkey's, the Millers. Does anyone have information about immigrants from Pennsylvania up to Ontario, Canada. Francis Lee married Elizabeth Grainger around 1840 in Markham, Ontario, Canada. Francis' mother was Cruicy Russel Ligh. I think Russel is her maiden name. Francis' first son is named James Joseph, and other names are; William Francis, Aldolphus Homer, Russell, Marshall, Albert, Caroline Elizabeth, Julia, Ellen, Aurelia. I believe there was german in the family as they attended the Lutheran Church in Markham, and the wife Elizabeth Grainger is shown as German on one of the census records. If anyone can offer any suggestions or help at all, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. Jocelyn Lee
