All- Does anyone know of a document that addresses the Lee Family of Cobbs Hall line? I'm hung up at John Lee (Thomas, Charles I of Cobbs Hall, Richard I immigrant). There is not much known of John, only that his mother, Elizabeth (Keene) Lee, was of MD and that he was in SC in 1759. I need a place and date of birth as well as marriage(s) information. Is it possible that he was born in MD and was married there, as VA records seem to be silent on these points? There was a John Lee who married a Margaret Howard in Harford Co., MD in 1745/6 who apparently went to SC in 1751. They allegedly had a son, Greenberry, b. c1750 in Harford, MD, who went to GA and became a Colonel in the GA militia during the RW. Best regards, Hugh
