I have a case the opposite of what normally happpens for me. Instead of not being able to find someone, I have found three likely possibilities! Can anyone help me figure out which is the right one? I tried to order the town's vital records (to see if there was any further identifying info on the marriage record, such as a birthdate or father's name) from Salt Lake City, but they are permanently restricted. I am looking for the Nabby (?Abigail) Lee who married Nathan Carter (b. 15 Nov 1773) in Manchester, MA, on 3 Dec 1795. The three best possibilities that I have found were all born in Manchester, MA: 1. Abigail, b. 14 Jan 1772, dau. of Edward Lee and Eunice 2. Nabby, b. 24 July 1773, dau. of Ebenezer Lee and Mary Thorndike 3. Nabby, b. 14 May 1774, dau. of Solomon Lee and Sarah Hooper Nabby Lee Carter was listed as 77 yrs on the 1850 census, while her husband's age was given as 76. If these ages are right, then # 2 is the woman I am looking for (despite the fact that the Ancestral File has her marrying a different man, but it wouldn't be the first time the AF was wrong.......), since the census was done between their birthdays. Many thanks in advance for any info/hints/clues, BJ Hinshaw
