This is quite a posting. I'm having trouble making any links to LEEs of Georgia. My great, great grandfather, Thomas Palmer Lee was said to have been born in Screven County, GA, (was always told Thomasville, GA) joined the Civil War at a young age (younger than he should have, I believe) with his brother John Holcomb Lee. After the war they settled in Northern Florida (Umatilla). I have found record of their father's name to be William. Some records record his birth in GA and others say NC. One record indicated a spouse as, "Miss Barber". Does any of this sound like it might connect to any of you? Here is my information: 01/10/1998 Descendants of: William Lee 1 William Lee #144 m.
