Dear Lee Researchers, I have a question about a thing related to Lee Family History called "Hotten's List", of the first Lees to come to Virginia. Does anyone know anything about it? What research has been done on these names since? Has it been collected in one central library? The contents of the list is as follows: "Thomas Lee, age 50, (in 1624) and Christopher Lee, age 30, came to VA in the ship "Southampton" in 1623 from the port of London, and in Jan. 1624 were living on the plantation of Abraham Peirsley at James City. The following were from the port of London to VA: John Lee, age 17, in ship "Bonaventure" Jan. 2, 1634 John Lee, age 16, in ship "Transport", July 4, 1635 William Lee, age 36 Anthony Lee, age 21 Henry Lee age 18 5 in ship "Assurance" July 24, 1635 Marie Lee age 22 Marie Lee age 14 weeks Joseph Lee, age 25 in ship "Primrose" July 27, 1635 Henry Lee from Barbadoes in ship "Unity" April 1, 1679 Richard Lee from Barbadoes in ship "Rebecca" July 17, 1679" This comes from the Montague Family History book (I think.)
