    3. Dear Fellow Lees, I am looking for the origins of Thomas LEE, resident of Jamaica, Middlesex Co., VA, as early as 1662, he died there in 1709. He married Elizabeth and mentions in his will of March 8, 1709, his son Charles Lee b. 1683, daughters Mary Lee Jones and Ann Lee Gardner and Elizabeth Lee Mullins, grandsons Thomas Lee and Charles Lee and granddaughter, Elizabeth Mullins. Thomas LEE Sr. was the first known Lee of our line in America and had a small plantation of 300 acres when he died. His Lee family stayed in Middlesex Co., VA for the next 200 years and are listed in the Christ Church Parish Register. (See "The Lee Family of Middlesex Co., Va., Virginia Historical Magazine, Jan.1941, pg 75-78 for the full family line.) Any information about Thomas LEE would be helpful. So far, I have not connected him to the Cobbs Hall Lee line of Ricahrd Lee the immigrant. Related lines: Jones, Gardner, Mullins, Hampton, Montague, Cheney, Buford, Latane, Probart, Tuggle, Bird, Jacobs, Garrett, Garner, Day and Putnam. Thank you. Pamela Lee Cranston
