Is there anyone who can help me break through to a discovery of who my GGGrandfather's ancesters were. He was Thomas F. Lee, (the "F"believed to stand for "Fauntleroy") He was born in Virginia, (according to most census) in 1797. I think the confusion comes because the part of Virginia that he was believed to be born in was a disputed area with Tennessee that didn't get resolved until 1805. I believe that he was born in Washington Co. He married Nancy Wilson in 1826 in Greene Co., Tennessee. He moved to Indiana where most of the information that I have comes from. He died in Sullivan Co., Indiana Abt. 1860. The children whom I have found to date are Elizabeth, born Abt. 1829, Margaret born 1831, John Wilson Lee (My GGrandfather) born July 29, 1836, Cynthia born 1838, Norcissa born 1839 and Thomas Bentley Lee born 1840.
