Some input for Hugh's request below: Date: 28 Jun 2004 From: [email protected] << Those early LEEs with unknown descendants are marked with an *.  It is these men about whom further information is sought.  Best regards, Hugh>>     2b. Richard (II) m. Elizabeth Corbin ( believe this Richard married Leticia 'Lettice' CORBIN) 3a. John Pope, The parish register of old Christ church, Lancaster, records the baptism of "John Lee, son of Major Richard Lee and Mad'm Lettice, his wife, on the 3rd day of Xber, 1678." As no such son is mentioned in his father's will, he probably died in infancy. Philip, third son of Richard and Laetitia (Corbin) Lee, his wife, was born in Westmoreland Co, VA, about 1681; he died in 1744, about April of that year. As he moved to Maryland in 1700, he may have been born earlier than the date given here. He was a member of the Council in Maryland, and a Justice; no further data concerning his career has been discovered. He lived in "Blenheim," in King George's county, in that state. Philip was twice married; first to Sarah, daughter of Hon. Thomas Brooke, Esq. (1632-1676), of "Brookefield," and Barbara Addison, his wife; Thomas and Barbara Brooke deeded land to her, as wife of Philip Lee, in 1713; .... Sarah Brooke died in November between 16th and 28th, 1724. By her will (dated 16th and probated 28th of November, 1724), she left her "younger son Arthur Lee and heirs forever all that tract or parcell of land which my Honored Father Thos. Brooke, Esq., gave me the said Sarah Lee, . . lying at Rock Creek, and I do by these presents Constitute ordain and appoint my Loving Brother Mr. Thomas Brooke, Gentleman, to be the Executor of this my Last Will and Testament” Philip married, secondly, about 1725-6, Elizabeth, the widow of Henry Sewell, Gentleman, who survived him. Philip Lee's will, dated the 20th of Mar, 1743, and recorded in Charles Co, the 1st of May, 1744, was as follows: .......... (pg. 96-98).
