Many thanks, Lorien. However, there is supplement (Supplement p. 5) that has some additional information about Daniel as follows: "Daniel Lee m. Jane Neeley (d/o James Neeley, Chester Co. SC) Chester Dist. deed, 24 Sept. 1806 moved to Lincoln Co. TN (Chester Dist Deed, 31 July 1813)." Daniel is shown living next door to father Frederick in the 1790 Halifax Co. NC census and in Chester Co. SC in the 1800 census. In 1810 Frederick is still in Chester Co SC. No mention of Daniel, but he may already be in TN by then. 1790 Halifax Co. NC census Frederick Lee, 2 m over 16, 2 m under 16, 3 f, no slaves Daniel Lee, 1 m over 16 1800 Chester Co. SC census Daniel Lee, 26-45, 1 m under 10; 1 f 26-45, 3 f under 10 There is also a note that that mentions deeds where this family lived: "Perhaps, Frederick left Johnston Co. [NC] about the same time as his brother, Thomas. There are 2 deeds in Halifax Co. NC in 1785 and 1802, along with the census records of 1790 and 1800 for that county and for Chester Co. SC, to indicate that Frederick lived in Halifax Co. before moving to South Carolina." Hope this is helpful.
