Her obituary relating to her death 15 Aug., 1914 stated she moved from near Indianapolis, Indiana with her family to Gentry co., MO in 1846, settling about 6 miles west of Pattonsburg, MO. Sarah Elizabeth Lee, born 2 May, 1844. In IN or TN (per census). Died 23 Apr., 1910 at Hume, Bates, MO. Lived in Harrison & Gentry cos., MO most of adult life. Married to John Jackson Justice ca. 1859. Her death certificate states her father as Benjamin Lee, born in IN. Family tradition states she may have had a brother name Philip.
