LYDIA QUALLS MURPHYSBORO- Lydia Qualls, 74, of Murphysboro, formerly of Hurst, died at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 1993, in Murphysboro. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Walker Funeral Home in Hurst, with burial in Blairsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. She was born Jan. 31, 1919, in Ava, to Maurice and Lillie (Lee) Bagley. She married Harvey Qualls. he died Oct. 15, 1986. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Cross of Creal Springs; one son, Wayne Qualls of Carbondale; grandchildren; and two sisters, Avis Birch of Bradodford and Bessie Graff of Murphysboro.
