[and yes he did marry a widow Rice, she was the dau of Thomas Claibourne though NOT Wm, Thos being Wm's bro] My Matthew is from the Immigrant Wm Harris of Shenfield Eng 1621 thru his son Robert Harris. this Robert was NOT the one who md Mary Claiborne Rice. This Harris line goes back to Wm Harris of Prittwell & wife Anna Jernigan. You need to get the new updated document written 2000 by Wm Deyo dispelling the parentage of this line. ITs worth it!!
