It is claimed that there was a Capt. Charles LEE at the Battle of Stony Point, NY 1779. Several VA Light Infantry Companies (6) took part in the assault, also, the Legion of Major Light Horse Harry LEE provided security for the operation, and the brigade under Brig. Gen. Muhlenberg was back up/reserve. This brigade included VA Regiments. Captain Charles LEE could have served in any one of these units. If so, who was he?
