The gene's of the mother carry your maternal lines and the genes of your father carry your paternallines and they reccomend that if you have only a sister or brother you should get a sample of there DNA for posterity if they are the only one left. They were also saying to be very careful of DNA testing ficilities who claim just the opposite. They are trying to make as much money as possible and some of the testing facilities are a big scam.
