I am related to a DIFFERENT Andrew Jackson Lee, born the same year as the one you are researching. This Andrew appears to have spent his entire life living (and marrying--many times!) in Clay County, Illinois. This Andrew Jackson Lee was born 13 June 1842 in Clay County, Illinois. His parents were James Lee (b. 1811, Rush Co., Indiana) and Sarah Atkinson (b. 1811, Rush Co., Indiana). Please do keep this in mind when doing research. If you find your Andrew J Lee seeming to drift down to Clay County, it's probably the other Andrew Jackson Lee. I'm happy to continue the conversation! -Craig T.
