This is a long shot...I am looking for an A.O. LEE who sent a postcard to my g-grandmother, JOHANNA STENSRUD WANG, in the early 1900's. The greeting on the postcard is "My dear brother's sister" and states that Mr. LEE is on a "stock farm" in Minnesota, halfway between Fairfax and Franklin, but 1/2 mile closer to Fairfax. It is my understanding that LEE was a version of the Norwegian name Lien or Lein. As my g-grandfather was born in Vang, Norway and given the name JOHAN CHRISTOPERSEN VANG, we are unsure as to who Mr. Lee might be? Johan was illegitimate and as far as anyone knows never met his father...but could Mr. Lee be his half brother? The greeting "My dear brother's sister" could have been meant to read "my dear brother's wife". If anyone can help I would greatly apprecaite hearing from you.
