I am seeking information on John Sylvester Lee, born about 1849, married to Cecillia Blackwell and living in St. Helena Parish in the early 1870's. John and Cecillia's children were: Bruce Lee, b. about 1869 Ivy Howard Lee, b. May 13, 1874 in Dennis Mills, LA, d. Sept. 11, 1953 and married to Agnes Socenia Newsom (my great-grandfather) Joseph Lee There may have been more children. I am attempting to trace John Sylvester's ancestry.
