Thanks, Pat A William Lee born 1730 Ulster Ireland came to America in 1744; landed in North Carolina; bound to blacksmith Quaker named Hoag for 7 years; his family was on next ship sailing for America and settled in Pennsylvania...when 21, William became a hatter and employed 20-30 people; in 1818 he was in NC with wife, Susannah Pike where he died; was a Quaker...on 4 Feb 1758 William was received into membership of Friends at Cane Creek meeting and in 1758 married Susannah Pike who was b. in Frederick Co. VA. William and Susannah had 10 children, one a William b. 1760. Was this William ever in Frederick Co. VA and does anyone have information on the parents of Susannah. Have two Pikes in Hopewell minutes. And, who may have been the members of the family that settled in PA?
