Another parcel, nearby, was purchased by Lewis LEE. I think these transactions were made in 1837, although my TGLEE was in Bartholomew Co by 1823. Thomas Greene LEE d. 1874, Jennie died 1874, three months later. TGLEE's obituary states he had 12 children, 8 girls, 4 boys, with 3 girls and 2 boys living when he died. My Mary Ann LEE RICHARDSON died 1869, presumably after childbirth. My grandmother, Mary Clara RICHARDSON, was 5 when she died, so there was very little family history passed on to her, as she was raised by the RICHARDSON side of the family. Thomas Greene LEE's brother, Marshall Burr LEE, was born 22 Dec 1810 in Georgia, married 15 Oct 1828, Bartholomew Co IN to Ellen MCEWEN; d. 5 Sep 1854 (typhoid fever), Wapello, IA.
